Our Valentine's Day was pretty low key this year. It's still a day that I will never forget though.....

Greg is being deployed to Afghanistan this summer. We "knew" it would happen while we lived here, so we were as prepared for the news as you can be for news like this. Please start the prayers for all of us. It's going to be hard on the kids and I, but I feel mostly for Greg because he is going to miss 6 months of his childrens' very young lives and that is going to be extremely hard for him. The military life is the life we chose and while we thought it would never happen to us, it has and we are hoping that it will strengthen all of our relationships and make us a better couple and a stronger family. We will be there for each other miles and miles apart and ask for your prayers and support too. Thank you.

Dearest Angie and Greg, and Ethan and Leah too... SO many prayers are being lifted for you already! We love you, bunches, and are praying... and will, hopefully, be seeing you BEFORE August and, for what I hope are a couple of bright spots during it, and of course, once he's back home. ♥
Praying for a safe deployment and a quick and safe return back to your family. Be strong for the kids and keep in touch any way possible and it should be a quick 6 months. Good luck to all of you!
