Preschool!

We visited a preschool last week and we really loved it, but...... I spent a good chunk of change on college so I might as well use my degree to teach my son! And after the tour, I definitely know that I can!! It will be good for everyone involved and I've already started lesson planning again and we both just love it. He hardly thinks of it as "school" anymore and is much more willing than a few months ago to participate and "play" with me.

I can't get a good picture of him to save my life these days!!

This is what I did tonight- prepped all of my lesson plans. I have 4 units- fire safety is pretty small though, so maybe just 3 and a handful of other fun learning activities/projects/games/literacy units.

Our favorite so far has been our Eric Carle day. Can you guess which two books we read?
He loves his little caterpillar and he sequenced the story all by himself. He loves The Very Hungry Caterpillar! We also read The Very Busy Spider and he loves his little spider that climbs up to her web. He even drew a fly in the web.
(I wish this picture wasn't so blurry, bc it's actually a decent picture of Ethan!)

Looks like a lot of fun! I'll have to call and talk to you sometime about your preschool ideas!
