AFIT Holiday Party

They had a little holiday party at AFIT today for families. We went with the O'Hara's and had a nice time.

Ethan got his first face painting- a snowman! He did so well.

He even won a door prize!!!

First Snow and 2009 ornament

It snowed in Dayton! We woke up on Monday morning to snow!! It was quite exciting.

Ethan stopped in his tracks as soon as he saw it!

He didn't know what it was!

"What is this stuff?"

After Bootcamp, we were walking out with Jennie and Savannah and Ethan walked over to the parking curb, which had snow on it, and he bent down to get real close and just stared at it, trying to figure out what the heck it was! It made me laugh.

Ethan prays before all of his meals now.

And before bed.

And before he eats snack.

And anytime anyone sits at the table.

And anytime his friends eat anything......

Second Visit to Santa

We went to Waynesville for their Christmas in the Village celebration. It wasn't very good, but we were surprised to see Santa there!

"Oh you again!"

"Mom's got the camera so I'll humor you all, but it doesn't mean I like it."

"I don't know whether to laugh or cry at you, you silly old man!"

"But you gave me candy, so I guess you're all right."

St. Nick's

St. Nick visited our house last night! He brought Ethan an Elmo toy, mini doodle, Christmas ornament from our trip to Disneyland and the If you give a Cat a Cupcake book to match his new Cat.


Ethan picked up his new Elmo toy right away!

And danced with it.

And tried to "show" it to Casper.

He hung his ornament on the tree.

We had a little Christmas gathering last night with our Southern Ohio SMCC friends.It was so nice to see them all and catch up. Ethan enjoyed "playing" with Lyla. Lyla wasn't very impressed with Ethan's "playing".



But she didn't mind him at first. They really liked each other at the beginning of the night. :-)
